A Week of Gratituide:
This week we have been discussing "gratitude". Gratitude is the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. Write three good things. Pick one of these things and write about it. Why are your grateful for that person, place or thing? What can you do to show gratitude toward that person, place or thing?

Example: My three good things are the sunshine, my students, and challenges.
I am grateful for challenges in my life because they help to grow my brain and learn from my mistakes. Challenges give me the opportunity to take risks, make mistakes and learn from them. I am grateful for challenges every day! When I am faced with a challenge I will write it down in my journal and say to myself, "I am grateful for this challenge, I am up for the challenge, I will learn and grow from it."

Three great things are my friends, veterans, and farmers. I am grateful for friends because they can help you through struggles and cheer you up. I am also grateful for friends because they can make you laugh so that every day seems light hearted. I show my friends graduate by being a good listener and being kind to them and their friends. By including everyone, maybe then those people can become your friends too!

Three good things I am grateful for are my family, friends and food.
Food
I am thankful for food because it keeps me healthy and happy. I am lucky to have food because in some places around the world there are families who don’t have the money or resources to have food all the time. Those families would starve and they would eventually die. Another reason why I am thankful for food is because it helps keep us alive. If I didn’t have food I would be one of those people who would starve. I don’t want to be one of those people. Lastly, I appreciate being able to eat food that my family can provide for me and that we can eat together as a family. The fact that I am able to eat makes me feel very lucky. When I eat food I can show appreciation by saying thanks. That is why I am thankful for food.

Showing gratitude is easy because you just have to notice the things in life that will help you feel happy. I am grateful for...
1. Education
2. Friends
3. Water/food/shelter/home

1. My school
2. family
3. animals

I am thankful for my dog, my family, and my room
I am thankful for my dog because she always knows when I am sad or hurt and she comes over and tries to make me feel better

There are many things that I am thankful for. Here are three of them. They are my family, the sun, and my friends. I am thankful for my family because they are very kind and help me with homework and other things like that. I am thankful for the sun because if we didn't have the sun then the whole earth would be cold and have no light. I am also thankful for the sun because it makes everything brighter and makes it seem like a better day. I am thankful for my friends because my friends are super nice. They make me laugh and always are very kind to me.

I am grateful for my family, for rocks, and the christmas TREE. the christmas tree. I am grateful for the christmas tree because it is very colorful. Also it as presents under it giving it a magical feel. Last but not least, you get to hang out with family around it. (I know you can hang out with family all the time.)

I am really grateful for Michael, bacon, and Sprite. I show my gratitude for bacon by eating it! Nom Nom!
I (try to) be grateful everyday! I also show my gratitude by trying to be a good friend to Michael. Finally, I show my gratitude toward Sprite by drinking it a lot of the time when we go out for dinner.

Three good things in my life are family, friends and shelter. I'm grateful for my family because they are always nice to me, they play with me and they help me when I need it. I can show gratitude to them by caring for them, be kind to them and appreciate them.

I am grateful for a lot of things but the top three are my family, friends, and challenges in school. I am grateful for my family because they help me when I need help, and at least one of them brightens my day everyday. I am thankful for my friends because they cheer me up and play with me. I am especially thankful for Sophia G. and Caroline because they are nice and they make me laugh. Finally, I am thankful for challenges in school. That is because my brain gets stronger every time I learn something new. Also, if something is too hard my brain is getting pushed, pushed, pushed until I finally get it then I feel so good that I challenged my brain super hard. I just want to give a special shoutout to Mrs. Chavez because everyday I walk out from math, there is something new that I learned in my mind!

3 good things are Friends, Family, and a roof over my head. I am thankful for my friends because they make me happy whenever I'm around them also because there are funny. I am thankful for family because if I did not have them I would be sad and depressed. I am thankful for a roof over my head because I live in it, and that is shelter contains things that are good for me such as food, and medicene.

HI! I am grateful for my friends, sister, and airplanes.
I am especially grateful for airplanes. My sister Shalene lives in LA, if it wasn't for airplanes I wouldn't get to see her every once in a while and at holidays. I also am grateful for airplanes, because then I can go on fun trips and also watch my dad when he is golfing in many different place.

I have a bunch to be greatful for. But my three things right now are the best.
1. My wonderful family
2. Food and water, two things that some people don't have
3. Shelter, which A LOT of people don't have

My tree good things are my family, friends, and shelter. I am grateful for my family because whenever I feel down just coming in to see their smiles makes me happy. I am also grateful for my family because when I have fell they help me up and encourage me to keep on going.
Also, I am grateful for my friends because when I am feeling down they will make me laugh and put a smile on my face.
Finally, i am grateful for my shelter because on a old rainy day I an walk into a warm, cozy hose which not much people have.
